PREVIOUS

STAFFING

Some additional facilitators may be needed depending on the workshops

Benefits

- Media-enticing spectacle.

- Highly engaged work, direct interaction with the community.

- It's a work that the "general public" may connect with physically and psychologically without an elaborate knowledge of art history.

- Relevance, currently prices of tertiary art education in Australia has risen so high in fees that it becomes unrealistic for a median income person to pay fees or pay back fees for an arts course, making art education now an activity for the wealthy or for inescapable very serious debt. This work further demonstrates how important art education is for highly imaginative, playful lateral thinking and how important the humanities are in our community.

Challenges

-Informing the public of the benefits of "unlearning".

Accomodations for Covid

- Workshops can happen via zoom easily.
